Savaria home elevators, installed by an authorized dealer

Savaria has built home elevators for over 40 years, and five of their models cover almost every situation: a traditional cab in a hoistway, a glass showpiece, a hydraulic for the quietest ride, a heavy traction unit, and a through-the-floor lift that needs almost no construction. We install and service all five.

Why Savaria, and why us

  • Forty years of home elevators

Savaria is one of North America's largest accessibility manufacturers. Parts and support will be there in twenty years, which matters for a machine built into your house.

  • Design freedom

Hardwood, melamine, or luxury MDF walls; several ceilings and lighting styles; accordion, bi-fold, or sliding gates; flush doors; a touchscreen panel. The cab can disappear into the house or be the feature of it.

  • We handle the project

Hoistway drawings for your builder, coordination of framing and electrical, the elevator install, and the paperwork for Maryland registration or PA permits.

  • Service after the sale

We are a local Savaria dealer, not a national call center. The crew that installed the elevator services it. Annual plans available.

Pricing and financing

A Savaria elevator is priced by travel distance, number of stops, cab size and finish, door type, and the construction the site needs. We quote from architectural plans for new builds and from a site visit for existing homes, and the quote separates the elevator from the site work so you can see both. Monthly financing is available; see financing options. For a quick sense of which model fits, use the comparison table.

Questions we hear every week

Which Savaria elevator do most people choose?

The Eclipse. It is machine-room-less, carries 950 lb, serves up to six stops, needs only an 8 inch pit and 8 ft ceilings, and the cab can be finished to match almost any house. Most of the traditional elevators we install are Eclipses.

Do Savaria elevators need a machine room?

The Eclipse and Zenith do not; their drive components fit in a small closet or, where code allows, inside the hoistway. The Infinity is hydraulic and needs a machine room for the pump unit. The Telecab and Vuelift carry their drive with them.

Can I design the cab myself?

Yes. Savaria's online cab designer lets you pick wall panels, flooring, ceiling, lighting, fixtures, and gates, and we bring the finish samples to the consultation. Luxury flush doors and a touchscreen control panel are available on the Eclipse and Infinity.

What warranty comes with a Savaria elevator?

Savaria covers parts for 36 months on its home elevators. We add our own 1 year service warranty on labor, and offer annual service plans after that.
