Permits in York County
Commercial lifts need a Pennsylvania state permit before the order and a witnessed acceptance test after installation; commercial travel is limited to 12 feet without a variance. We prepare the application and drawings, give the building owner a checklist of what they provide, perform the test, and offer service plans covering the periodic tests. Residential lifts need no state permit. See the platform lifts page for pricing and the full lineup.

Platform lifts in York: common questions
How much does a porch lift cost in York?
Residential vertical platform lifts typically land in the low to mid five figures installed, depending on rise, enclosure, and gates. We quote after measuring.
Can a platform lift go on a York rowhome stoop?
Often yes, with a Multilift on a pad beside the stoop and a gate at the top. Where the sidewalk is too tight, an inclined lift or a different entry may be the answer. We look at it in person.
Do you install lifts for York County churches?
Yes, frequently. We handle the commercial permit and test and schedule installation around services.
How long does installation take?
One day for a residential lift once the pad and circuit are in. Commercial projects run a few weeks end to end because of the permit and inspection.
