Where we work: central PA, southeastern PA, and northern Maryland

We are based in Etters, Pennsylvania, between Harrisburg and York, and travel across central and southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. More than a thousand installations in over a hundred towns. If you are within about an hour and a half of us, we are already in your area most weeks.

Central Pennsylvania

Home base. We are in Etters, between Harrisburg and York, and most of our installations are within an hour of the shop: narrow rowhomes in downtown York, farmhouses in Lancaster County, colonials in the Hershey and Camp Hill suburbs.

Also: Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, and Shippensburg in Cumberland County. Hummelstown and Steelton in Dauphin County. Lebanon, Palmyra, and Myerstown in Lebanon County. Mifflintown, Thompsontown, and Port Royal in Juniata County. Lewistown and Burnham in Mifflin County. Ephrata, Lititz, and Elizabethtown in Lancaster County. Red Lion and Hanover in York County.

Southern PA and the Maryland line

Gettysburg, Chambersburg, Hagerstown, and everything between. Older homes here: stone farmhouses and places that have been in the family for generations, with the tight staircases to match. We have put stairlifts in some tricky spots in this part of the region.

Also: Littlestown and New Oxford in Adams County. Waynesboro and Greencastle in Franklin County. McConnellsburg, Warfordsburg, and Needmore in Fulton County. Boonsboro and Smithsburg in Washington County, Maryland.

Northern and central Maryland

Westminster, Taneytown, Mount Airy, Frederick, and the Baltimore suburbs. Many of these calls come from adult children arranging a stairlift or ramp so a parent can stay in the house. Same conversation, same follow-through as closer to home.

Also: Towson, Catonsville, and Parkville in Baltimore County. Bel Air, Aberdeen, and Edgewood in Harford County. Columbia, Ellicott City, and Savage in Howard County. Frederick, Urbana, and Thurmont in Frederick County. Elkton, North East, and Perryville in Cecil County. Western Maryland (Allegany and Garrett counties) may start with a virtual consultation.

Southeastern Pennsylvania

West Chester, Downingtown, Phoenixville, Malvern, and the Main Line. Larger homes where a residential elevator often makes sense, for accessibility or simply for convenience, along with curved stairlifts and platform lifts.

Also: Kennett Square, Exton, and Coatesville in Chester County. Lower Merion, Ardmore, and Blue Bell in Montgomery County. Reading, Wyomissing, and Temple in Berks County.

Questions we hear every week

Do you charge for travel?

Consultations are free anywhere in our normal service area. For installations and service calls beyond about 30 miles of our routes, a mileage charge applies and is shown on the quote.

I am outside the towns listed. Will you come?

Probably. The lists are the places we are in most often, not a boundary. Call with your town and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you well.

Do you work in New Jersey, Delaware, or West Virginia?

Not routinely. For elevator projects near our Maryland or Pennsylvania borders we sometimes make exceptions. Ask.

Ready to talk it through?

Call and you will reach a person who installs these for a living. Or request a free in-home consultation and we will come to you, measure, and give you a written price with no pressure.
